What Do I Have to Do?

The only thing we ask you to do to be eligible for the Emergency Ride Home program is to let us know that you're a ridesharer. You can call and register in advance, which will save time if you do experience an emergency, or we can register you when you actually call us for your Emergency Ride Home. Either way, all we need is a minimum of information and you're set. That's all there is to it!

How Does It Work?

When we receive your call, we'll help you determine whether a taxi or rental car best suits your needs. Typically, if you need to travel 15 miles or less, we'll send a taxi to your worksite within 15 minutes of your call. For longer distances, we'll probably recommend a rental car. In this case, the rental car company will pick you up at your worksite and take you a short distance to their rental office to complete some paper work. You should be on the way home within 30 minutes of your call to us. When you return the car the next day, you'll receive a ride back to work. Regardless of whether you use a taxi or rental car, Spectrumotion is billed directly. No money comes out of your pocket.
