Once again in 2007, Spectrumotion is partnering with the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) to promote Southern California Rideshare Week. This year's theme, Be a Rideshare Hero, takes advantage of the current movement towards personal responsibility for environmental health. You benefit from this partnership with more chances to win fabulous prizes from both Spectrumotion and OCTA. Companies and commuters are being rewarded for their heroic efforts to promote, encourage and participate in Rideshare Week. Companies that participate by marketing Rideshare Week will be entered into a random drawing for $1,000 in gift cards. Buena Park Metrolink Station Now Open

Orange County's newest Metrolink station opened Tuesday, September 4, 2007. Located at 8400 Lakeknoll Drive, Buena Park, the station features surface parking for 300 cars, 600-foot boarding platforms in both directions, waiting areas with canopies and benches, a beautiful clock tower, a nearby transit oriented development, a pedestrian overpass, restrooms, lockers, and bicycle storage. Metrolink's 55th station will be serviced by the Orange County (OC) Line that connects Los Angeles to Oceanside.
To commemorate the Buena Park Metrolink Station opening, a special public event will be held Saturday, October 6, 2007 for everyone to come out and experience the new station first hand. Irvine Train Station Update

Construction of the 1500 space parking structure at the Irvine Train Station is well underway. The Ada street entrance has re-opened for passenger pick-up and drop-off. For your safety, commuters entering the station on foot or bicycle should use the Ada street entrance.

Spectrumotion is a private, nonprofit association formed to assist commuters to Irvine Spectrum. We are funded by the property owners in Irvine Spectrum much the same way a homeowners association is in a residential community. That's how we can offer all our services to commuters and employers free of charge.
Spectrumotion provides a variety of free services including carpool matching, vanpool formation and incentives, Metrolink commuter rail information and incentives, OCTA bus information and incentives and an Emergency Ride Home Program. Commuters that register with Spectrumotion for rideshare information or incentives are entered into our commuter database. The database is used to match commuters with potential carpool partners along with keeping statistical data on commute behavior in Irvine Spectrum.
